WHERE IT BEGAN
A name built on a foundation
Woodland Lane Co. started as a way to hold onto someone — and turned into a practice of making something honest, by hand, over and over.
Drake Thompson was sixteen when his father, Todd, passed away. Todd was a carpenter who ran his own construction company, and Drake grew up around the smell of sawdust and finished wood. Long before any candle existed, he knew he wanted to build something of his own that would carry his father's name forward.
That tribute shows up in the details — most of all in our signature wood lids, a small tribute to a man who built for a living.
The circle closes with 2 Woodland Lane, one of our most personal scents — the address of the first house Todd ever built.
Remembering turned into making. Today the company is grounded in craft, built deliberately, and meant to help every room feel like yours.
